We at The Rock promote God’s universal call to all to be saved and come to Him. Upholding that salvation is found in Christ alone and we pursue our responsibility to proclaim the Kingdom of God, with both our words and the lives we live, acting as it were as the extended arms of Christ reaching out to a world in need.
Increase
1 Cor 3:6 “I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase”
Our desire at The Rock is for all people of all ages to experience an environment which allows God to grow them. We desire to see people flourish and advance in a deep and personal relationship with God, and aim to enhance the atmosphere and environment allowing the Holy Spirit to “increase” each of us.
Intensify
Romans 12:11 “Do not be slothful in zeal be fervent in spirit”
Our prayer is that we each will conduct our lives with a burning desire to please God and advance His glory in the world, in full knowledge that Godly zeal is given without measure to surrendered lives and empty hearts.
Invest
Acts 20:35 “In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words of the Lord Jesus Himself said it is more blessed to give than to receive”
Our aim at The Rock is to be generous and diligently steward all the resources God has given us both individually and corporately, extending from finances to the many and varied talents we each possess. As we sow both locally and internationally, our desire is to love as Christ loved, expecting no return, instead taking every opportunity to extend grace to all.
Inspire
1 Cor 12:7 “But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good”
We aim to facilitate an environment that encourages each one to reach the fullest potential that God has gifted them in, seeing many released into the fields and callings God has placed them in and the body of Christ functioning to the fullest potential possible, all for the glory of God and the enrichment of the believers.
